The Grampanchayat Kadepur app, developed by Quantox Technologies Pvt. Ltd., empowers residents of Kadepur village in Sangli district to manage civic duties with ease. The app allows users to scan QR codes to pay property and water taxes online, view payment history, and receive instant notifications. Secure and intuitive, the app simplifies municipal transactions and strengthens digital governance in a Gram Panchayat setting.
Preliminary Design or Layouts
The app features a clean and functional design tailored for everyday citizens. On opening, users are greeted with a prominent QR-code scanning button for tax payments. Beneath, a history section lists past transactions and receipts. The interface uses standard UI elements and readable fonts, with clear Marathi/Hindi labels–ensuring ease of use across all age groups. Designed for low–bandwidth Indian rural areas, it supports quick loading and fluid navigation
The Challenge
Rural tech adoption often faces challenges: limited internet connectivity, varied mobile device capabilities, and a population unfamiliar with digital transactions. We needed to design an app that works reliably on low-end Android phones, provides secure QR-based payment integration, displays transaction history, and supports multilingual content—all while maintaining performance and simplicity.

What We’ve Done
Quantox built a gateway for transparent, user-friendly tax payments in a Gram Panchayat setting:
The Result
The app transformed tax collection in Kadepur Gram Panchayat. It streamlined over 2,000 monthly citizen transactions, reducing the need for physical visits and queues. User feedback highlights the ease of QR-based payments and downloadable tax receipts. The platform has become an integral tool for civic engagement and transparency in rural self-governance. Its success was also featured in QMIPL’s coverage of Kadepur’s digital transformation
